The Retina Institute in the Vision Center at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is the major referral center for pediatric retinal disorders in the Western United States, as well as a national and international resource for physicians and families. Of the approximately 350 total cases of retinoblastoma a year, one out of six are treated at the Retina Institute. Dr. Thomas C. Lee and Dr. A. Linn Murphree, together offer decades of experience in complex retinal disorders and are conducting influential research into these challenging conditions. They also are on the faculty at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
